1. Orders & Payments

Orders can be placed via our website (www.lesdelicesdepatience.com) or by phone/WhatsApp (click the whatsapp icon at the bottom right to start a conversation with me).

We accept bank transfer (HSBC/PayMe), PayPal or credit cards (via secure Airwallex payment). Paypal and Credit cards are subject to a 3.3 % fee.

All prices are in HKD and include applicable taxes.
Note:
As we work with seasonal fresh ingredients, prices may occasionally be adjusted. We’ll always inform you of any changes
2. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery is available in Hong Kong (Except remote areas and outlying islands). Delivery to remote areas may be arranged via WhatsApp, subject to additional fees.

We take pride in handling every delivery personally. Unlike many businesses, we don't use third-party delivery services. Your order will be carefully transported by our dedicated team of 2 in insulated bags with ice packs to ensure optimal freshness. Need me to lend you the insulated bag(s)? Check how here

We handle the scheduling so you don't have to. So there is no need for you to choose a time slot delivery hours in advance. We understand most restaurants and homes lack spare fridge space for delicate pastries. That's why we:

Time deliveries to arrive exactly when needed

Use coolers that maintain temperature

Never leave orders unattended (no lobby drop-offs)

While we take every precaution (including strategic delivery scheduling) to deliver your treats perfectly and on time, please understand that, unexpected delays or accidents can occasionally occur despite our best efforts. In such rare cases, we will contact you promptly and work to find a solution.

Delivery fees apply (details at checkout).

For perishable items, we recommend delivery on the same day (or specify your time slots).

No returns/refunds for food items (unless damaged – see below).

Waiting Time Policy

Our delivery team operates on a tight schedule to serve you all promptly. If our courier needs to wait longer than 15 minutes at your designated drop-off location, we reserve the right to:

Reschedule your delivery to the next available time slot

Charge an additional $50 HKD waiting fee for extended delays

How to Avoid This:
✓ Ensure someone is available to receive your order (Ensure your designated recipient is available to accept delivery. If receiving on behalf of the orderer, please provide their contact number for coordination.)
✓ Provide clear access instructions in delivery notes
✓ Monitor your phone for courier updates

3. Order Modifications Policy
Designed to respect our handmade process
1. No Cancellations Accepted
Due to the perishable nature of our products and advance preparation required:

All sales are final once payment is confirmed

We cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds for a change of mind.

Changes to orders (flavors for layer cake, delivery time...) must be requested 48+ hours before delivery.
2. Postponement Requests
We understand plans can change and will try our best to accommodate:

Requests to reschedule must be made ≥72 hours before the original delivery date

Subject to availability (we may decline during peak periods)

Maximum 1 postponement per order allowed
3. Our Commitment to Fairness
If we cannot fulfill your postponement request:

You may designate another recipient to receive the order

We'll provide store credit for 20% of order value (valid 3 months)
4. Exceptions
Full refunds/replacements only provided if:

The order is damaged in transit (with photo evidence within 1 hour).

We fail to deliver on the confirmed date without offering postponement
4. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Our products may contain allergens (gluten, nuts, dairy, etc.). Always check product descriptions.

We take no responsibility for allergic reactions if allergens are not communicated before ordering.
5. Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy! Personal data (email, address) is only used for your order.

No spam – we’ll only contact you for order confirmations or promotions (you can unsubscribe anytime).
6. General Policies

Force Majeure: In case of typhoons, strikes, or other disruptions beyond our control, deliveries may be delayed. We’ll notify you ASAP.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. If your order is declined because we are fully booked, you will be refunded using the same payment method you originally used for your purchase.
