One of France’s most beloved desserts, the madeleine is a soft mini sponge cake, instantly recognisable by its scalloped shell shape. Smooth on one side and lightly bumpy on the other, it is both simple and sophisticated.
 
Freshly baked with  French butter, eggs, flour and sugar, our madeleines can be flavoured with lemon zest, vanilla, or chocolate chunks. They are best enjoyed warm with a morning coffee, or at 4pm for the traditional French goûter — the equivalent of British afternoon tea.
 
Each box contains 12 madeleines (±275 g), prepared fresh to order for a taste of authentic French comfort ✨.
