Yule log cake, or bûche de Noël, is a traditional Christmas cake.


The Yule log cake is a rolled Genoise sponge cake, filled with buttercream (chocolate or praliné) and decorated to create a bark-like texture, with woodsy decorations to resemble a miniature actual Yule log, powdered sugar sprinkled to resemble snow, mushrooms made of meringue.


26 cm - 8 to 10 people


Store in the fridge and take out from the fridge 20 min before cutting

  • Ingredients:

    - eggs,

    - sugar,

    - wheat flour

    - salt,

    - POD (AOP) french butter

    - hazelnuts, almonds (praline)

    - chocolate
